Employment Solicitor 5+ Years
A reputable commercial practice is looking to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor, with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE, to join their team.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a multi accredited firm where their dedicated teams are ranked in the Legal 500. They provide commercially-minded employment advice across a range of industry sectors with a particular emphasis on engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, education and retail.
Role
They are looking for an experienced solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in mostly respondent and claimant employment law. The caseload will include:
- Contracts of employment
- Director’s service agreements
- Business transfers and TUPE – employment advice for acquisitions, disposals, mergers and joint ventures
- Defending employment tribunal claims
- Unfair dismissal
- Discrimination
- Handling redundancy and re-structuring
- Restrictive covenants
- Settlement agreements.
- Maternity and other “family-friendly” rights
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- General HR advice and support
